Dear fellow mom,

Your living room is probably the room in your home you spend most of your waking hours in, right?

Imagine this scenario.

Let’s say you walk into your living room and…

  • It’s a mish-mosh of furniture that doesn’t really go together.

  • Your sofa is used as your kids’ personal wrestling arena, chock full of stains ranging from juice box to marker that wasn’t, well “washable”.

  • The recliner you “inherited” from your favorite aunt.

  • The coffee table from your first apartment.

  •  The lamp you ran out and bought because, well, you needed a lamp.

It’s all there and none of it makes sense. It leaves you saying to yourself, “this is why we can’t have nice things,” day in and day out. You want to make changes to your space, but don’t have the time to do it and don’t know where to start.

Now, imagine this scenario.

You walk into your living room and..

  • It’s filled with pieces that truly reflect you and your family now.

  • It’s a place where you want to spend quality time with your family.

  • You can curl up with a cup of coffee and plan your day in peace and solitude before the kids wake up and it’s “go” time.

  • You don’t have to worry about what your sofa looks like because it can stand up to whatever your kids throw at it (or spill on it).

  • You’re proud to show it off when you have company over.

This second scenario may seem out of reach - or is it?

Enter your friendly, neighborhood interior designer. (That’s me.)

I understand the first scenario because I’ve lived it myself. My husband and I went on a shopping spree the night before we moved for items we could take with us because we were moving from the basement of my in-laws’ house to a full house of our own that needed furniture ASAP.

Then slowly, but surely…

  • My son destroyed our dining table with his arts and crafts creations.

  • My dog destroyed our sofa by pouncing on the top of it with excitement whenever someone came home.

  • Coasters seem to be a foreign concept and I’ve got the rings in my coffee table to show for it.

  • And don’t get me started on the stains...

I can probably count on one hand how many times I’ve had gatherings in my home because I didn’t want others to see how "not put together" my home was.

Now, I see a light at the end of the living room tunnel. I’ve taken the time to select pieces for my home that not only reflect me and my family, but can stand up to the wear and tear that comes from having kids (both human and four-legged). All I have to do is wait for those items to be delivered and set up.

I’ve taken the time to devote to my own home and I’d love to spend some time working with yours - so you don’t have to.

Consider me your design momcierge. I take on everything from design concept to installation to renovation project management. And if there’s something not 100% in my wheelhouse, I have several trusted partners, from professional organizers to house painters.

What’s the next step, you ask? Let’s hop on a call and chat virtually over a cup of coffee.

Sincerely,

Angela (Your Interior Design Momcierge)
